It's important to note that this remote control does not work with LiftMaster residential garage door openers. If the existing remotes use a code with the #1 dip switch in the on position, the 811LMX remote will not be able to clone that remote. In such cases, the new 811LMX remote will need to be programmed directly into the system, allowing both the old and new remotes to control the system.

However, if the existing remotes do not have the #1 switch on or any switches in the middle position, there will be no compatibility issues.

The 811LMX remote is compatible with Security+2.0, Security+ 390 MHz, and Security+315 MHz for commercial products only. It can replace 33LM, 61LM, 361LM, and 811LM remotes, with the exception noted above.
